В доме-музее Ф.И.Шаляпина открывается выставка «Джузеппе Верди. Музыка и культура» с 1 июля по 31 августа.
Пресс-конференция, посвященная открытию выставки, проходит сегодня 30 июня в 17.00 в Мемориальной усадьбе Ф.И. Шаляпина (Новинский бульвар, 25-27). В ней принимают участие посол Италии в России Чезаре Мария Рагальини, заместитель министра культуры РФ Алла Манилова, Директор итальянского института культуры в Москве Адриано Дель Аста, Генеральный директор музейного объединения музыкальной культуры им. М.И. Глинки М.А. Брызгалов.
Экспозиция «Джузеппе Верди. Музыка и культура» приурочена к 200-летию со дня рождения композитора и уже была с успехом показана в Италии. В Москве выставка проходит в рамках перекрестного Года туризма Италии и России 2013-2014 и Года культуры в России.
Цель выставки — рассказать о жизни и творчестве великого итальянского композитора посредством подлинных документальных материалов, иллюстрирующих этапы жизни и творчества композитора, портретов и фотографий Верди, писем о его политических взглядах, исторических карикатур на героев опер, автографов гения и т.д.
В главном разделе выставки «Услышать Верди» посетители пройдут по “историческому” звуковому маршруту, сравнивая фазы развития техники звукозаписи и воспроизведения. Вместе с подбором редких записей голосов выдающихся оперных певцов XIX- XX веков в разделе представлены и устройства воспроизведения звука (от аппаратов, считывающих с воскового цилиндра до первых граммофонов).
Выставка состоит из шести разделов: «Рукописи Верди» (портреты и рукописи композитора, фильм — Джузеппе Верди в жизни и его слава режиссера Джузеппе Де Лигуоро, из фондов Государственной Фильмотеки в Риме), «Верди в периодической печати. Сатира» (серия публикаций и карикатур), «Услышать Верди», «Реквием», «Сцена и первые исполнители опер Верди», «Верди в кино» (рассказ о кинематографических воплощениях опер с отрывками из кинофильмов, афишами и старинными фотографиями).

Exposition «Giuseppe Verdi. Music and Culture » is timed to the 200th anniversary of the composer’s birth and has already been successfully shown in Italy. In Moscow, the exhibition takes place in the framework of the Year of Tourism Italy- Russia 2013-2014 and the Year of Culture in Russia.
The purpose of the exhibition is to tell about the life and work of the great Italian composer by true documentary materials that illustrate stages of life and work of the great composer, Verdi’s portraits and images, letters about his political views, historical cartoons of the heroes of operas , autographs of the genius , etc.
In the main section of the exhibition «To hear Verdi» Visitors will go thgrough the «historical» sound route, comparing steps of the development of recording and playback techniques. Together with the selection of rare recordings of outstanding opera singers of XIX-XX centuries, there are also presented the sound devices.
The exhibition consists of six sections: «Verdi’s Manuscripts » (portraits and manuscripts of the composer, film «Giuseppe Verdi’s life and his fame « by the director Giuseppe De Liguori, from the State Film library in Rome), «Verdi in periodicals. Satire «(series of articles and cartoons),» To listen to Verdi «,» Requiem «,» scene and the first performers of Verdi’s operas, «» Verdi in cinema «(the story of cinematic incarnations of operas with excerpts from films, posters and old photographs).
